The Pure Brightness Day, also called Tomb-sweeping Day, falls on April 4th or 5th every year.

It is one of the 24 solar terms in Chinese lunar year, which brings people the warm spring breeze and bright sunshine. Thus, people are always going for a spring outing. It is also a time for people to go to sweep the tombs in memory of their ancestors.

As one of four important traditional Chinese festivals, it gives us time to relax ourselves as well as show respect for our ancestors. (88 words)
