你校将增设一间学生活动室（student activity room），现有以下六种关于活动室用途的设想：读者之家（Reading corner）、劳技工坊（Mini workshop）、艺体天地（Arts and sports centre）、义卖集市（Charity market）、科创小屋（High-tech lab）、心灵驿站（Heart-to-heart room）。学校正通过校报了解学生的意向。假设你是李华，请给校报的张老师写封邮件，表明你最喜欢的一种设想，并说明理由。

（注意：1.邮件中不得出现姓名、校名等个人信息，否则不予评分。2.照抄阅读语篇不得分。）

2022年上海市中考英语作文试题要求考生给校报的张老师写一封邮件，对学校新增的活动室用途提出自己的意见，因此这是一封建议信。

电子邮件的格式与书信一样，也是从称呼开始写起。这封邮件的称呼不妨写Dear Mr Zhang，要顶格写，后面用逗号。

一封电子邮件的正文一般写三个段落。第一段表明写这封邮件的目的。由于这是一封公务信函，第一段可以先表明自己的身份，比如自己是八年级（1）班的班长，接着再表明写这封邮件的目的------对活动室的用途提出自己的意见。

第二段先表明自己的意见，即从题目中的活动室用途的六种设想中选出一种自己赞同的，然后陈述自己的理由。

第三段是一些客套话，如希望对方觉得自己的建议实用，表明自己愿意和对方详谈此事等。

邮件的最后是署名，写在正文下方中间偏右（现代是偏左，偏右是传统）的位置。署名分上下两行，上一行可写Yours sincerely，下一行写Li Hua，上下对齐。下面请看参考范文：

Dear Mr Zhang,

I am the monitor of Class 1, Grade Eight. I am writing this email to put forward my opinion as to the purpose of the newstudent activity room.

I think thestudent activity room should serve as a Reading Corner. As you know,reading widely is very important for teenagers. Without strong reading skills, students may struggle in math, science and even the arts.

I hope you will find suggestion practical. I am ready to discuss this matter with you in detail.

Dear Ms.Zhang：

I am informed (被告知) that our school is adding a student activity room. Given (鉴于) both my personal experience and students’ most urgent (紧急的，急切地) need, I would like to see a heart-to-heart room to be set up (建立).

Personally speaking,(就个人而言，) psychological health (心理健康) is the basis of academic performance (学业表现) and personal happiness. I used to suffer mild depression (轻度抑郁症) at the beginning of online classes. That was mainly because I was confined to (被困在) my room all day and couldn’t relieve exam stress (缓解考试压力) by confiding in (向..倾诉) my teachers and friends. Suffering from loneliness and anxiety, I got worse scores and almost lost confidence in myself then. Although I got out of the situation through meditation (冥想) and communication with my parents, how I wished our school could offer me some psychological counseling (咨询)!

More importantly, I am by no means (绝不是) the only case. There has been news about an especially large number of students committing suicide (自杀) and harming themselves during the pandemic (疫情) . A lot of tragedies (悲剧) could have been avoided if there were timely (及时的) help.

To sum up, I firmly believe that our school should be equipped with a heart-to-heart room where professional psychological counselors (心理顾问) can help improve students’ mental health (精神健康). Thank you for your time. I would be grateful if you take my suggestion into consideration.

2. 语法(8分)：语法错误每个0.5分。

3. 文采(4分)：平时多注意积累课外单词，短语，句式，功夫在平时！

所以，要想提升写作能力，写出切题、完整、流畅的高分作文，必须要打好英文基本功。
