on the subject of Ocean Asteroid Impacts.
Li
Ying, one of the three students who won the prize, had once seized the
attention of many netizens during thenational college entrance exams in
the year of 2019 and 2020.

Li
Ying, who came from Yuxi, Yunnan province, took the college entrance
exam for the first time in 2019 and scored 668. She applied for her
dream school, the University of National Defence Technology, when
filling out the form of intention for college entrance exam.

Unexpectedly,
Li missed her dream school because the NUDT only recruited the two top
female students in Yunnan province that year. She ranked third, losing
the opportunity by 1 point.
Despite
suggestions that she choose a different key university, Li decided to
repeat classes to rank higher and have another shot at her dream school.

She
was under great pressure, but quickly adjusted her mindset and made a
clear and detailed study plan, working even harder on her weak subjects.
Li's
second college entrance exam didn't fail her — a score of 693 was more
than enough to get her admitted to NUDT. In fact, her socre was so
good, that faculty from renowned Peking University Health Science
Center, approached her and offered her a place.
Li turned down the invitation from PKUHSC and went to her dream schoo, NUDT, as the top student from Yunnan province.
One netizen commented: "She has an unshakable mind, knowing clearly where her heart belongs."
